Special General Meeting

A Special General Meeting was held in September to discuss the future of the Society.
Following the overwhelming support of members and a few volunteers to join the committee, the Society will be looking to change the way we operate.  This will most likely include changes from meeting every month on a Monday evening, to instead mixing the formats from month to month. Possibly 4 evening meetings in the city each year, 4 weekend meetings at lapidary clubs each year and a few special event meetings.

The new committee is planning things for 2017 and more details will follow in the coming Newsletters (overdue September and coming December issues).
