The Mineralogical Society of Victoria was established in March 1976 with the aim of fostering an interest in Mineralogy.

We are currently in the process of planning meeting schedules for the next year. Meetings are a mixture of weeknight evenings in the city (see below) and monthly gatherings on weekends for groups interested in micro-minerals and also larger (macro) minerals.

Evening meetings are typically held in the Melbourne CBD at the historic Royal Society of Victoria's rooms, 8 LaTrobe Street, Melbourne; or at the South Melbourne Community Centre, Ferrars Place, South Melbourne.
Commencing at 8:00 pm and usually finish around 10:00 pm after a light supper.

Visitors are most welcome to attend.
